Terms and Conditions for Vidya Group of Institutions, Gopalganj
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between Vidya Group of Institutions, Gopalganj (“Institute”) and its students, faculty, and other stakeholders (collectively referred to as “Users”). By accessing or using the Institute's facilities, programs, or services, Users agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. According to Sheokand Legal
1. Admission and Enrollment
- New admissions are based on seat availability.
- Applicants must submit all required documents, including original certificates and photocopies, during admission.
- Admission is contingent on document verification and the accuracy of provided information.
- Students from recognized schools outside the state need their Leaving Certificate counter-signed by that state's inspecting authority.
2. Fees and Payments
- Annual fees are due in a single payment or installments by the specified dates.
- Fees are generally non-refundable or transferable, except as per Institute policy.
- Separate charges apply for course materials, books, or other services.
- The Institute may take legal action against Users with outstanding debts.
3. Attendance and Leave
- Regular and punctual class attendance is expected.
- Generally, a minimum of 75% attendance in theory and practicals is required to sit for the final exam.
- Leave is granted for valid reasons with prior written application from parents or guardians.
- Students must be present on the first and last days of the academic session.
4. Student Conduct and Discipline
- Students must follow Institute rules and maintain discipline on and off campus.
- Institute property must be handled with care and not defaced.
- Mobile phones and other portable devices are prohibited on campus.
- Ragging is strictly forbidden.
- Misbehavior can result in punishment, including rustication.
5. Institute Property
- The Institute is not liable for loss or damage to students' belongings.
- Students should avoid bringing valuables or large sums of money.
6. General Rules
- The Institute may change rules and regulations, which will be communicated and binding.
- Rules apply to students from leaving home for the Institute until their return, or during Institute activities.
- Damage to Institute property must be compensated.
7. Parents' Cooperation
- Parents are expected to support Institute rules and policies.
- Parents should not speak to students or teachers during class hours without permission.
- Parents are encouraged to attend parent-teacher meetings and Institute events.
- Parents should promptly inform the Institute of address or contact information changes.
8. Limitation of Liability
- The Institute is not liable for failing to perform obligations due to events beyond its control, such as acts of God, war, and natural disasters.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
- Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of courts in Gopalganj, Bihar.
10. Declaration
- By enrolling, Users agree to these Terms and Conditions.
- Users release the Institute from responsibility for accidents during physical activities or excursions, as normal precautions are taken.
